In order to meet eligibility requirements for a first-time central heating grant, you must have a gas connection installed before the 31st of March 2022.
Living in a property with an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of (lower) D or E.F to G. This means your home is considered energy inefficient. * You must be a homeowner or a tenant living in a privately rented home. Only those homes with an EPC rating of lower D, E, F, or G for homeowners and E, F or G for private tenants are eligible for central heating grants. Those householders rent their homes from a local council or a housing association. And those in shared ownership homes, do not qualify for the first-time central heating grants scheme. Secondly, your home must have an existing mains gas supply.
