Our work supports both large-scale housing projects and individual property upgrades, helping deliver measurable energy savings and long-term sustainability.

Retrofit & Decarbonisation

Delivering whole-house retrofit heating system upgrades that meet PAS 2030/2035 standards, improving energy efficiency and reducing energy use by up to 40%, while cutting up to 2 tonnes of CO2 annually from every home.

Able to Pay

Our Able to Pay makes retrofit heating projects affordable for private homeowners & landlords to support renewable energy use. Through partial government fundings, the cost burden is significantly reduced.

Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund (SHF)

Helps housing associations and councils improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions via retrofit projects for social housing providers across England. It also aims to boost EPC ratings of social homes.

Warm Homes: Local Grant (WH:LG)

Supports energy efficiency for privately owned homes across England that currently have low energy performance. It’s a part of the government’s broader Warm Homes Plan to tackle fuel poverty and meet net-zero emission targets.

Warm Home

3. Policy Statement
Berks Insulation has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. We are committed to acting
ethically and transparently in our business dealings and ensuring that our supply chains are free from
exploitation and abuse.
4. Definitions
• Modern Slavery: Encompasses slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and
human trafficking.
• Human Trafficking: The illegal trade of humans for the purposes of forced labour, sexual
slavery, or commercial sexual exploitation.
5. Responsibilities
All employees are responsible for understanding and adhering to this policy. Managers are required to
promote awareness and ensure compliance within their teams.
6. Recruitment and Employment Practices
We are committed to fair recruitment practices and ensuring that all employees are employed
voluntarily and receive fair wages. We will:
• Conduct thorough background checks on potential employees.
• Ensure that all employment contracts comply with legal requirements and include clear terms
and conditions.
7. Supply Chain Management
We will actively assess and manage our supply chain to identify and mitigate risks related to modern
slavery. This includes:
• Conducting due diligence on suppliers to ensure compliance with ethical standards.
• Including clauses in supplier contracts that prohibit modern slavery and require compliance
with relevant laws.

Our trades TrustMark Registered for: Cavity Wall Insulation, Flat Roof Insulation, Draught Proofing, Room in Roof Insulation, Floor Insulation, Heating System Insulation, Hot Water Systems, Wall Insulation (Internal & External), Air source heat pumps, and Solar PV installation services.

Our Service Cost

We charge absolutely nothing from our customers because all our services are paid by the ECO4 scheme.

For Customers Feedback & Complains

Any complaint in relation to any aspect of our work compliance with PAS 2030:2019 and PAS 2035, claimed from any source, are informed to the Quality Representative and Retrofit Coordinator without delay to ensure that any complaints we receive are dealt with in a structured manner by being recorded, acknowledged and resolved appropriately.

A customer need to fill GD F11 – Complaint Form and our Quality Representative will contact the complainant within 1 working day and advise on steps to address the issue. The Quality Representative will record all relevant information with the consent of the complainant.

If the complaint cannot be rectified to the satisfaction as desired, we refer it to our Scheme Provider who may then
recommend an Alternative Dispute Resolution process, including referral if required. If our Scheme Provider does not have an ADR in place, TrustMark may recommend or refer the dispute to independent mediator.
