This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Berks insulation limited has taken and is continuing to take to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain. Modern Slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour. Berks insulation limited has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain.
We operate a number of internal policies to ensure that we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent

Berks insulation limited operates a Procurement Procedure and maintains an Approved Supplier List.We conduct due diligence on all suppliers before allowing them to become an approved supplier. We require that they confirm to us that:
We regularly brief all relevant management and staff members, and ensure that our policies reach every employee, in order that they understand the signs of modern slavery and what to do if they suspect that there is any risk of it taking place within any area of our business or our supply chain. As Partner members we will work with the Supply Chain Sustainability School to promote the material available to educate the industry on modern slavery.

We charge absolutely nothing from our customers because all our services are paid by the ECO4 scheme.
Any complaint in relation to any aspect of our work compliance with PAS 2030:2019 and PAS 2035, claimed from any source, are informed to the Quality Representative and Retrofit Coordinator without delay to ensure that any complaints we receive are dealt with in a structured manner by being recorded, acknowledged and resolved appropriately.
A customer need to fill GD F11 – Complaint Form and our Quality Representative will contact the complainant within 1 working day and advise on steps to address the issue. The Quality Representative will record all relevant information with the consent of the complainant.
If the complaint cannot be rectified to the satisfaction as desired, we refer it to our Scheme Provider who may then
recommend an Alternative Dispute Resolution process, including referral if required. If our Scheme Provider does not have an ADR in place, TrustMark may recommend or refer the dispute to independent mediator.

The programme significantly improved thermal efficiency, reduced heat loss, lowered energy bills, and enhanced overall comfort for households nationwide.



A multi-measure retrofit project delivered under the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF). Installations included solar PV systems, loft insulation, external wall insulation, upgraded heating controls, ventilation improvements, and roofline replacements, enhancing energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, and improving sustainability across social housing properties.



A renewable upgrade initiative focused on Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar PV installations for off-gas properties. This programme supported the transition to low-carbon heating solutions, reduced reliance on fossil fuels, improved energy efficiency, and contributed to national sustainability goals under the ECO4 scheme.



Delivered 300 solid wall insulation projects, including both internal and external wall insulation measures under the ECO4 scheme. All works were completed in full compliance with PAS2030:2023 installation standards and PAS2035 retrofit processes, ensuring high-quality delivery, improved thermal performance, and long-term energy efficiency benefits.




Delivered large-scale external solid wall insulation across multiple properties in Walsall City under the LAD scheme. The project improved building thermal performance, increased energy efficiency, reduced carbon emissions, and supported the council’s long-term sustainability and environmental improvement objectives.



Delivered nationwide ECO4-funded retrofit measures, including insulation and heating system upgrades to improve household energy efficiency. The programme helped reduce fuel poverty, lower energy costs, enhance living conditions, and contribute toward achieving national carbon reduction and sustainability targets.
