If you’re a homeowner or a private tenant who receives specific government benefits and have a low Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating, you’re eligible for the boiler grant in Scotland.
Only citizens of Scotland who are homeowners and private tenants can qualify for the grant if they have low income and receive certain government benefits.
Those homeowners or private tenants who have been using non-condensing boilers installed since 2005 are eligible. Moreover, the eligibility is conditional if any of the household claim any of the following benefits:
