To uplift UK households through energy efficiency and carbon reduction.
Contributing to the UK Government’s Net Zero 2050 strategy through targeted residential retrofits.
We have actively contributed to national retrofit objectives through successful delivery under LAD, SHDF, ECO3, and the ongoing ECO4 Scheme. Our primary focus is to prioritise households living in fuel poverty by making modern heating upgrades like efficient gas boilers, heat pumps with solar panels, and insulation. These combined measures helped families enjoy warmer homes while cutting down on carbon emissions and energy waste.
A Local Authority District (LAD), or simply district, is a geographic area in the UK for which a local government body is responsible. It’s a level of subnational division used for local government purposes. LADs can include various types of authorities, such as metropolitan districts, non-metropolitan districts, unitary authorities, and London boroughs in England.

(which include Solar PV, External Wall insulation, Loft insulation and/or smart heating controls)
ECO3 is a UK government scheme that provides funding for energy efficiency improvements in homes, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and tackle fuel poverty. It’s a successor to the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme. Specifically, ECO3 focuses on insulation and heating measures, particularly for vulnerable consumer groups.

ECO4 is the UK government’s Energy Company Obligation 4 scheme, designed to reduce carbon emissions and address fuel poverty by improving energy efficiency in homes. It’s a mandated obligation on major energy companies to achieve these goals. The scheme is expected to run from April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2026.

We manage the full retrofit process with a compliant, transparent, and quality-focused approach. In doing so, we make sure the process remains easy and supportive for the applicants at every step
We assess grant eligibility based on the latest criteria to ensure funding reaches the households that need it most.
Certified retrofit assessors carry out on-site surveys to recommend suitable energy efficiency upgrades based on their current EPC.
We create whole-house retrofit plans covering insulation, heating systems, and renewables, aligned with PAS 2035 standards.
All works are carried out by experienced installers who adhere to PAS 2030 standards, ensuring high performance and full regulatory compliance.
Pre and post installation audits, and structured customer support & complaint resolution ensure quality and safety standards.
Our energy-efficient upgrades deliver long-term benefits: cutting household energy bills, reducing emissions, and increasing property value in line with the UK’s retrofit and decarbonisation targets.
Up to £400 a year with solar panels & cut gas bills by around 35% with efficient boiler replacements
by over 1.5 tones annually using heat pump technology.
up to 25% via loft and wall insulation.
Berks Insulation Ltd. delivers fully compliant government-funded energy upgrades, improving home efficiency, lowering emissions, and supporting the government’s commitment to fuel poverty reduction and long-term carbon savings across UK housing stock.
The government provides Free boiler grant under eco4 schem. Homeowners and private tenants are eligible for free boiler grants with first time central grant. Under these grants, eligible households can upgrade their boiler to an efficient one at no cost.
Air source heat pumps are a great choice for minimizing carbon footprints. Save money through air source heat pump installation.
Explore government heating grants to upgrade your home. With the First Time Central Heating Grant tailored for all qualifying homeowners and private tenants!
Upgrade your home comfort by insulation grants offered by the Uk government. These grants allow homeowners and private tenants to install insulation and reduce carbon emissions.
We deliver government-backed insulation measures that reduce energy loss, improve EPC ratings, and support low-income households in achieving long-term heating efficiency and carbon reduction.
Prevents up to 25% heat loss through the roof, enhancing thermal performance and reducing energy demand in line with ECO4 objectives.
Fills wall gaps with approved materials to significantly lower heating needs and improve building envelope efficiency in eligible properties.
Improves heat retention in solid-wall properties using insulated plasterboard, compliant with PAS 2030 and retrofit design specifications.
Upgrades thermal efficiency by adding insulation to the external façade, improving aesthetics and achieving substantial energy savings.
Reduces heat loss through suspended timber floors, particularly in pre-1945 homes, and improves comfort without altering property structure.
